The main entrance is via a recessed porch and marble steps.
Reception Rooms On the left of the hall is the sitting room (13ft 2" x 12ft 6"). It has a shuttered arched window with wooden seat, period fireplace now converted to gas, two radiators and under-stairs cupboard plus fitted bookcase..
On the right of the hall is the Dining Room / Breakfast Room (13ft 2" x 13ft), with a matching shuttered arched window (pictured above looking towards kitchen; see below right for the reverse view from kitchen).
This room benefits from a wood burning stove that makes the room wonderfully snug in winter.
The modern kitchen, which was redesigned in 1999, is in a single storey annex (12ft x 12ft 4") off the Dining Room at the east end of The Cottage. It looks out over a raised patio.
It is an airy well lit space with two Velux skylights.
There is a stable door (featured below) that opens onto the passage adjacent to the main gate onto the footpath.
